Bosch BOVA 1.0 info
Hey All,Im a commercial tech. The wife and I just moved on to a little acerage outside of town and I was going to buy a Goodman heat pump to put in but the guys at the local supply house are trying to push me toward a Bosch BOVA 1.0 they say it works great with existing Goodman furnace and with a new Goodman coil. I started in resi but havent worked with any of that equipment for years now. What do you guys think? Do any of you install Bosch? Whats been your experience?

I see you are new here so welcome to the greatest HVACR forum in the universe.
I don’t install Bosch but I like everything I have read about the technology and will probably put one in a future house of mine.

I’m tired of these mediocre “semi flammable” refrigerants. If we’re going to do it let’s do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.

R600a,I appreciate the input. The technology does seem cool. Im just curious if it will work with any coil and any furnace or air handler. Ive read a few reviews from HOs stating it doesnt control humidity well.
It tries to maintain a 42 degree coil in cooling, 42 degrees is 42 degrees so I would think it should dehumidify okay. But I dont know.
