It Never Freaking Occurred to Me to Think…
Another thread here got me thinking about things that people never even thought about but seems obvious to others. Simple stuff, not technical stuff, like:When I lived on the farm, the inlaws would stab themselves repeatedly with flat bladed screwdrivers removing and tightening hose clamps on poly water lines. That stopped when I got them a set of nut drivers. They never thought about “hey, these are nut shaped. we can use a driver or socket on it”.
or
When BBeerme posted a picture of an evac hose on the end of a core removal tool, rather than the side port. It never occurred to me to use it like that.

“Is this before or after you fired the parts cannon at it?” – senior tech
I’m tired of these mediocre “semi flammable” refrigerants. If we’re going to do it let’s do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.

It never occurred to me to buy a wire wheel to use in my impact until @JayMan7 mentioned it and it works amazing!
I use it for removing flux after silver brazing and about a million other uses.
