My dream tubing bender.
I had an idea to improve the garbage T style tubing benders that ripple the inside radius of the tubing. I’ve tried oil, but it just doesn’t seem to work, maybe grease is better? I have the Hilmor complete kit with reverse attachment. Every once in a while I can get the pipe to bend smoothly, but more often than not there are tiny ripples on the inside radius.
So, my though was, can’t I design and patent a tubing bender that rotates the dies? Well, they already do, but it’s over $3k.
