New Lineset Install, Is This The Best Option
Hey guys, I could use some help with this one. Had a new lineset installed today 3/4, 3/8.1. The initial estimate included hiding the new lineset underground just like the old one. Will this matter in this case?
2. Is this the best way to run the line? I’ve been told that adding 90 degree bends would add extra load on the compressor.System is currently tested under pressure until tomorrow, when the lineset cover is supposed to go up as well.
Thanks in advance!
With the info given there is nothing wrong with that. What size unit and what is the total length? Post a picture of the inside unit and line set.

I would have turned it 90° and shortened all that up.
Eliminating one 90 and that offset.

I am not a fan of underground lines. Too many issues with subcool and superheat, not to mention oil return.
If they are against 90 degree bends, why did they route it the way they did? Oh well.
