    Does anybody know function of the highlighted tube (in red color) which is after TXV as shown in attached photo?

    Might be Hot Gas Bypass ….. to melt ice off the coil

  • Does the pictured TXV capacity match the compressor capacity?

    Where do the lines on both sides of the TXV connect into the system?

    What is that bundle of tubes in the lower right corner?
    Are they distributor tubes from a TXV?

    Is the bypass line (in red in the pic) smaller than 1/4″ OD?

    Can you post a close-up pic of the top of the formed u-bend where the TXV bypass line connects?

    What is the application? That is some close and packed in coil fin spacing. Comfort or other above 40º cooling? Or is it dehumidification as the primary goal?
